Charity Line

TransACT's Charity Line provides charities and not for profit organisations with a discounted line rental for TransACT's TransBIZ 1 phone service.

As a standard PSTN analogue service, the Charity Line is suitable for standard handsets, modems, faxes, and key systems that use analogue/POTS lines.

To be eligible for this product, organisations must fit into one of the following categories.

Be recognised as "deductible gift recipient organisations" by the Australian Taxation Office
Be a not for profit organisation incorporated under the ACT Associations Incorporation Act 1991, or
Be eligible for or currently receive Charity or Not For Profit call rates from another telecommunication provider.

The Charity Line is only available in selected areas. Customers should call TransACT Customer Care on 13 30 61 to confirm service availability.

Standard Form of Agreement, 12-month minimum contract and connection charges apply. Early cancellation fee applies as specified in our Standard Form of Agreement. All prices are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated. For technical reasons not all businesses can be connected. Calls are billed at 1-second increments, 1-second minimum. National calls and calls to mobiles exclude calls to special services, operator-assisted services, telecard calls, data calls and calls made to Christmas Islands, Cocos Islands and Norfolk Islands. * Free local calls are those made to customers on the TransTALK and/or TransBIZ plans. † Call charges are additional. ‡ Charge is applied per month per account for recovery of the Utilities Network Facilities Tax.
