Do I need to change my phone number if I choose HomeTALK phone services?
No, you can transfer your existing phone number to TransACT.

Can I keep the same number if I move house?
If you move house, you can relocate your existing TransACT phone number providing you move to a location which is supported by the TransACT network within the same geographical area. If you move outside of the TransACT network footprint you will not be able keep your number.

Do I need an existing phone line connected to my house to get HomeTALK phone services?
No, we will install a separate line at the point of installation.

Does TransACT provide me with a phone handset?
No. If you want to buy a handset, we recommend that you visit your local electronics or telecommunications retailer.

Do TransACT provide Voicemail services?
Yes, we can provide a virtual voicemail service that will take messages when a call goes unanswered or when you're on another call.
TransACT Voicemail offers:
an automatic greeting,
message waiting indicator,
a personalised greeting up to five minutes, a security PIN, and
the ability to retrieve messages from any phone in Australia or overseas.
Voicemail costs $3.30 per month.
