Mark Redhead - Corporate Business Development Manager, Victoria

TransACT provides communication services to more than 300 corporate and government customers throughout Victoria. Mark joined the team in early 2011 to manage the increasing demands and requirements of these markets for tailor-made solutions and connection requirements.

Prior to joining TransACT, Mark was engaged with the local business community of the Hume region and in particular Albury/Wodonga as the Area Manager for Aspirence Information Technology (now Anittel).

Mark is experienced in the challenges and hurdles facing organisations that have regional based branch locations. These challenges often require additional consideration and exploration in order to achieve the sometimes obscure alternatives. Despite Mark’s short time with TransACT, he has already managed to achieve some impressive results for our regional based customers.

Mark has completed a number of Dell certifications, a Diploma in Software Development and is in his third year of a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland.

Tony Cook - Regional Manager, South Victoria

Tony joined TransACT in July 2009 as Regional Manager Geelong and was promoted to Regional Manager South Victoria in January 2011.  He is responsible for the Geelong and Ballarat areas.

Prior to joining TransACT Tony was employed by Telstra Corporation for over ten years in sales and sales management positions and was recognised nationally during this period, receiving awards for excellence in sales management.  Tony has wide experience in various management roles across the education, training and employment sectors in addition to his telecommunications background.

Cory Alderton - Area Manager, Mildura

Cory joined TransACT (then Neighbourhood Cable) in October 2001 as an Installation Technician. He has since worked in various roles in the organisation before becoming the Area Manager in September 2009. Prior to joining the company he worked as a satellite technician and completed an apprenticeship in the Metal Fabrication industry.

Cory has a Diploma in Business management from Sunraysia Institute of TAFE and a Certificate 3 in Telecommunications Engineering from South West TAFE. He is also studying to complete the Certificate 4 in Telecommunications Network Engineering at Energy Training Centre.
