The standard simple ADSL modem (single Ethernet option) costs $100. Upon installation, ownership of the modem reverts to the customer.

Standard Form of Agreement,12-month minimum contract and early cancellation fees apply. Connection fee of $450 applies or $200 if the business premise is pre-cabled for TransACT services. Connection fee is waived with a 24-month contract. All prices are GST inclusive. TransWEB is only available as part of a package. For technical reasons not all businesses can be connected. Additional fees may apply for non-standard installations. TransACT services terminate at the building’s telecommunications main distribution frame. Any cabling required past this point is the customer’s responsibility. Prices do not include ISP charges. Broadband speeds are maximum speeds achievable and may be affected by a number of factors outside TransACT’s control including line quality and length from the exchange, hardware and software, the source of the download, internet traffic, other services running on the network and your ISP. *As at 3 Mach 2009, TransACT testing indicates that 99% customers receive the maximum speed. †As at February 2009, TransACT testing indicates that 99% of customers on the 2Mbps plan receive 2Mbps, 9% of customers on the 20Mbps plan receive the maximum speed and 52% of customers receive 8Mbps or more. ‡Only available in areas where fibre-to-the-premise has been deployed.
