ADSL modem

The standard simple ADSL modem (single Ethernet option) costs $100. Upon installation, ownership of the modem reverts to the customer.

Standard Form of Agreement, 12-month minimum contract and connection charges apply. Early cancellation fee applies as specified in our Standard Form of Agreement. All prices are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated. For technical reasons not all businesses can be connected. Not all packages are available in all areas. Broadband service must be taken in conjunction with a TransBIZ phone service at the time of application to the TransACT network. Prices do not include ISP charges. *Broadband speeds are maximum speeds achievable and may be affected by a number of factors outside TransACT’s control including line quality and length from the exchange, hardware and software, the source of the download, internet traffic, other services running on the network and your ISP. As at 3 May 2007, TransACT testing indicates that 99% customers receive the maximum speed. †Charge applies per month per account for recovery of the Utilities Network Facilities Tax. ‡Broadband speeds are maximum speeds achievable, actual speeds received at your premises at any given time may be less. Factors that affect speed may include line quality and length from the exchange, hardware and software, the source of the download, internet traffic, other services running on the network and your ISP. As at 3 May 2007, TransACT testing indicates that 99% of customers on the 2Mbps plan receive 2Mbps, 9% of customers on the up to 20Mbps plan receive the maximum speed and 26% of customers receive 10Mbps or more.
