Get a broadband connection with TransACT

TransWEB is TransACT's broadband service that lets you connect to the internet with speeds of up to 100Mbps*.

TransWEB is available on TransACT’s Cable, ADSL2+, Skydata and Fibre-to-the-Home networks. For technical reasons the package that you can connect to will depend upon where your home is located. To find out which great package you can connect to check our suburb service availability chart, check the availability at your address or call TransACT on 13 30 61.

You must have an account with an ISP on the TransACT network to use the TransWEB service. See the list of ISPs for more information.

You can get TransWEB:

  • in a TalkWEB package, with our TransTALK phone service, or
  • in a Home Pack, with our TransTALK phone and TransTV subscription television services.

*100Mbps only available on TransACT's fibre-to-the-home network. Broadband speeds are maximum speeds achievable and may be affected by a number of factors outside TransACT’s control including line quality and length from the exchange, hardware and software, the source of the download, internet traffic, other services running on the network and your ISP. As at February 2009, TransACT testing on the ADSL2+ network indicates that 99% of customers on the TalkWEB Zoom receive 2Mbps, 9% of customers on the TalkWEB Supersonic receive the maximum speed and 52% of customers receive 8Mbps or more.
