TransWEB is TransACT's broadband service that lets you connect to the internet with speeds of up to 20Mbps*. No dial-ups, no disconnections — just high-speed access 24/7.

With TransWEB you can download movie trailers more quickly, play games faster, and access rich media content in the blink of an eye. Plus you can be on the phone and online at the same time.

TransWEB is available on TransACT’s Cable, ADSL2+ and Skydata networks. For technical reasons the package that you can connect to will depend upon where your home is located. You must have an account with an ISP on the TransACT network to use the TransWEB service. See the list of ISPs for more information.

TransWEB is available in a variety of speeds, from 1Mbps^† up to supersonic speeds of 20Mbps*. You can get TransWEB:

in a TalkWEB package, with our TransTALK phone service, or
in a Home Pack, with our TransTALK phone and TransTV subscription television services.

Terms and conditions

Broadband speeds are maximum speeds achievable and may be affected by a number of factors outside TransACT’s control including line quality and length from the exchange, hardware and software, the source of the download, internet traffic, other services running on the network and your ISP. *As at January 2008, TransACT testing on the ADSL2+ network indicates that 99% of customers on the TalkWEB Zoom receive 2Mbps, 6% of customers on the TalkWEB Supersonic receive the maximum speed and 47% of customers receive 8Mbps or more. †As at January 2008, TransACT testing on the Cable network indicates that 99% customers receive the maximum speed.
